Hammers win predicted

|

Mark Lawrenson’s BBC replacement Chris Sutton fancies the Hammers on Monday night.

The man we all love to hate in Lawro has of course given up his prediction page on the BBC website and Sutton is now the man who is seen as their expert.

Results prediction is something of a nonsense anyway and it seem surprising the BBC has continued with a feature which at the end of the day leads nowhere.

However, for one week only CandH record Sutton’s view.

Sutton tells his BBC website readers “Massive apologies to Bournemouth fans. I knew as soon as I finally predicted they would win, against Southampton on Wednesday, that their unbeaten run under Gary O’Neil would soon be over.

All I can say is that it won’t happen again. Well, I certainly won’t tip them to beat West Ham anyway.

The Hammers were really unlucky not to get anything at Anfield on Wednesday and, that game aside, they have been in pretty decent form”

West Ham have dropped down to 13th place in the Premier League table, a win would only lift the Hammers up to 11th place on 14 points.

Crystal Palace plays Everton later today with a Toffees win the best result for the Hammers.

Bournemouth are currently 12th on 13 points so West Ham can leapfrog them with a win.
