Irons looking keenly at a couple of today’s games

West Ham are of course enjoying a little break between their last win and the game at Arsenal on Thursday. However, the Irons will be looking keenly at a couple of games today which could affect their position in sixth place in the Premier League.

They will at first be hoping Nottingham Forest can somehow or other get a win at St James’ Park where Newcastle are currently sitting just one point behind the Hammers in seventh place and will of course be favourites to snatch a win over the midlands strugglers.

Then this evening there’s a big clash at Old Trafford between Manchester United and third placed Aston Villa. The Reds looked a less than average side against us last weekend and a top form Villa look quite capable of perhaps putting it across them and knocking another nail in manager Erik ten Hag’s possible coffin. United sit in eighth place two points behind us, thus needing a win to over haul us.

The other games being played today involve Bournemouth v Fulham,, Sheffield United v Luton and Burnley v Liverpool whilst tomorrow Brentford take on Wolves, Chelsea are at home to Palace and Everton are hosts to Manchester City. Beyond our game on Thursday at Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion take on Spurs.
