Wet Ham fans have long been labouring under the ‘99%’ liklihood that one of their’ Crown Jewels’ – star players Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen or Mohammed Kudus- would be sold this summer to bankroll the club’s squad rebuild and to create clear blue water between the club and its rocky PSR predicament.
Jarrod Bowen, we are assured, is not for sale at any price. Lucas Paquetá is still embroiled and therefore embargoed in the midst of his private hell of the FA inquiry.
Mohammed Kudus gave an interview to skysports Premier League with very interesting comments as far as his future is concerned:. The Sky post claims ‘Mohammed Kudus wants to be challenging for European football again at West Ham” and it has to be said, raises the tantalising prospect of the Ghanaian remaining at London Stadium next season.
Without irony or hesitation, ‘Starboy’ responds to the question put to him about whether West Ham’s 2024-5 season was just a ‘blip’ and whether the Hammers will be back up there challenging for European football in future:
“100%, that should be the focus. That will be the standard in every season. We take a lot of lessons from these down times. Every set back for me personally I see it as an opportunity to grow and focus on what’s ahead”.

Mohammed Kudus wants to be challenging for European football again with West Ham ⚒️
He’s either a brilliant actor – possibly – or the media talk of him heading off to Liverpool or Arsenal is being vastly overblown. Interesting as I count myself as one of those who’d been expecting Kudus to be one of the first out of the door in the summer. Intriguing.
Bless him…… he’s already somewhere else but can’t say it. I remember a famous no.41 saying something similar. Personally I think he’s has an average year and certainly hasn’t put his all into the badge. You only miss them when they’re gone and you need to replace them!
Got to move on from this guy. He has loads of ability but he has only shown a little of it all season. As long as we get a decent offer he has to go.
Westham don’t have a choice . PSR plus the need for replacements means that Westham have to sell one or more major assets . Bowen ain’t going , Paqueta’s in a pickle and so kudos to Kudus for being loyal to Westham but he’s the only one that can be sold for a profit from the 1st of June .
Interesting, kudus is world class on his day let’s see what happens. Would be nice to finish strong in the remaking fixtures . Maybe Mo will score a few. CPYI
He is fencing his bets, I’m sure he would go to a Champions league club if one came in with the right money. He can’t say that can he, especially before the end of the season. As with most players unless the club is a sure CL one they are using it as a stepping stone if they can.
Of course he’s going in the Summer
