Liverpool game could yet be moved

|

West Ham’s game with Liverpool on Monday night 4th February could yet be moved if the Hammers fail to finish off AFC Wimbledon this weekend in the FA Cup.

Should the Hammers draw against the League 2 side and be involved in a FA Cup fourth-round replay, the meeting with the Reds would move to Sunday 3 February at 12 pm.

Normal ticket terms and conditions would mean that any tickets would be valid for the re-scheduled Sunday game and not subject to refunds. The Liverpool game is completely sold out with any tickets coming on to ticket exchange sold within minutes but many will end up disappointed if the game moves to Sunday.

A number of West Ham home tickets have been advertised by Liverpool fans on social media leaving concerns how many away supporters will attempt to sit in the home ends. The club has taken action when they have been sent evidence of this and stewards will be checking for rival shirts and scarfs hidden under coats on entry.
