A bumper crowd is expected for the FA Cup third round game at the London Stadium in January against Birmingham City.
Birmingham has taken an allocation of 5,200 which they are likely to sell out even though they could have demanded up to 9,000 tickets which is 15% of the total stadium capacity.
Technically 60,000 seats will be available after the increase in capacity was approved but it is thought to not be a sell-out with around 40,000 tickets sold so far.
Club insiders believe that ticket sales could reach the fifties but they are unlikely to set a new FA Cup record third round home attendance which was only set last year against Man City on 6th January 2017 with an official attendance of 56,975. That was not only the largest home attendance of the third round of the FA cup for West Ham but the highest attendance of any FA cup home game in the club’s history. Pre-London Stadium move, the record was held by West Ham v Blackpool in the FA Cup third round 38,600 on 12th January 1952.

Looking forward to the game, due to the amount of injuries we have at the minute other than Adrian, Cresswell and Obiang I wonder who they can swap around, maybe Xande Silva will start, Holland and Diangana also ?
