Mark Noble rewarded with top marks

|

Mark Noble has received the highest average rating in Claret and Hugh player ratings in West Ham’s 3-1 win over Manchester United on Saturday.

Noble scored the season’s record highest player average score with an impressive 8.97 to grab the top spot this week.

Issa Diop praised by Jose Mourinho was second place with 8.37 followed by Marko Arnautovic on 8.35, Pablo Zabaleta on 8.29 and Declan Rice on 8.28

Luca Fabianski socred 8.21 followed by Felipe Anderson on 8.17 and Fabian Balbuena on 8.05.

Those outside the eights were Yarmolenko 7.64, Pedro Obiang 7.34, Robert Snodgrass on 7.13 and Arthur Masuaku at the bottom on 7.11.

Michail Antonio and Grady Diangana played under ten minutes so their ratings were discarded.

With over 600 Claret and Hugh readers voting in Saturday’s player ratings, it is a great accolade for Mark Noble who many wrote off as too slow and too old to hold down a first-team regular starting position this season.  I am glad he has proved the doubters wrong on Saturday.
