Moyes discusses Kretinsky’s arrival

|

Daniel Kretinsky’s West Ham arrival has been greeted with big excitement across the club and just how much cash will be invested into the squad remains to be seen.

However, the idea that the Czech billionaire is simply here to help clear debt doesn’t make a lot of sense.

He has seen a club that he believes can challenge big time at the top end of the Premier League and hopefully he will be pushing more cash into areas that will ensure our success.

David Moyes has admitted he doesn’t know how much cash will be available to him but is clearly delighted with the arrival of the Sparta Prague president as a 27 per cent shareholder.

Whether that is increased or not remain to be seen but the club has received a terrific boost as a result anyway and Moyes made his own feelings clear when asked what he had made of things.

Speaking to reporters he said: “I liked it, I think he’s a footballing man and he’s involved with Sparta as well.

I only had five minutes with him so it was very quick, but overall I’m glad to have him on board. I think he will help the board and give them some ideas. I’m looking forward to working with him.”
