David Moyes believes he has brought in the players that can see the Hammers surge up the table towards the top six.
What started as a slow window developed into a climax which has excited as the fans saw record signing Lucas Paqueta in particular arrive .

.

The guy looked superb on his arrival against Spurs and we have been told by several French correspondents that he is a better player than the outstanding Dimi Payet.

With the team showing the sort of form we became used to at the start of last season and the previous Europa League qualifying one the boss now hopes he has the squad that can make a real impact.
Having explained that the Brazilian needs settling in time given his limited English he added that he as a manager is aiming above all things to see the club mixing it big time with the top clubs,
He said: “Settling in is always going to be difficult for any player coming in, His English is very limited at the moment. But overall, he is in and trained yesterday and we want to get him involved. You could see the impact he had on Wednesday. “But we also want to be fair. We don’t want to be pushing someone in and be expecting something so special right away. We want to give him a chance to get to know the players, how we play, and the Premier League. Getting him to know how the league can be is probably the biggest thing.

I’ve think we’ve tried to bring in players we really believe can keep us up near the top end. I think the top clubs have recruited well also. We’re trying to keep up with them, that’s the job. Hopefully, in time, we can get the players to show how good they are.
“We needed the players in. We were short and I think it was always going to be a year where we needed eight new players.”
