Moyes makes exciting comparison for Irons

|

David-Moyes-863750David Moyes reckons we are going to love it if he can produce a West Ham team similar to the one he produced at Everton.

The Scot led the Toffees to fourth once, two fifth places and two sixth spots plus an FA Cup appearance whilst having them qualify for the Europa Cup four times.

He said  “If West Ham end up getting the Everton team from when I left, they will be loving it because we had a great team in the last two years.

“We finished above Liverpool in those last two seasons and we were regulars in the Europa League.”

But having had words with senior pros such as  Joe Hart, Pablo  Zabaleta, Mark Noble and Andy Carroll he insists they must take responsibility on the field.

He said: “We need them with the stuff we’re going to implement and the work we’re going to do.

“They need to be there and say, ‘Yeah, we know what we’ve got to do’.

“There is a stronger squad of players here. It will be difficult to identify necessarily an 11.

“I’m sure many people will pick  different teams but there is a group of players here, where realistically 15 or 16 could potentially be starting every  Saturday.

“I don’t think West Ham have a bad team. There are wins there.”
