Moyes offers his goal scoring plan

Haller disappointing over recent games

It’s been mentioned many times but our big problem right now is finding the net and David Moyeshas now addressed  a problem which has to be solved fast.

My problem is I can’t see where they will come from against Leicester City tonight despite the Foxes being on a run of just three wins from their last ten games in all competitions.

Without question, David Moyes has tightened the defence considerably where Angelo Ognonna deserves more than an honourable mention over an impressive season.

Issa Diop too looks to be returning to something like his best and despite Fredericks absence the amazing Zaba has performed admirably at 35 years young.

But up front with both Haller and Lanzini failing to make the sort of runs which would provide some much needed firepower we are in a bit of bother.

Moyes – discussing the issue at his presser ahead of the game is quoted at https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/january/21-january/moyes-leicester-city-goalscoring-threats-and-zabaleta saying: “We’d like to get more goals from all areas. We’d like to get more crosses in the box to score, we’d like other player to come up with more goals.

Mark Noble came up a couple of weeks ago with a couple of goals from midfield. Declan definitely has the quality to get goals because of his ability to strike the ball.

Then you have the likes of Lanzini, Fornals, Arthur Masuaku, and I hope they can all chip in with a couple of goals.”
