Moyes “pleased but wanted more”

Moyes explains nothing changes on the training ground

Nothing changes in the West Ham world these days behind the scenes so let’s hope we get a repeat ON it against Fulham tomorrow (Sat).

David Moyes finds it impossible to fault the squad’s performances over a hugely tricky looking start to the campaign.
To be sitting on eight points is a terrific achievement but the manager admits he is not fully satisfied even with that as we go into a run of what most would accept are easier games.
He is looking for total consistency which has been the bugbear of this club for too many years and explained that nothing changes from week to week as he bids to meet the objective.
Talking at his morning presser he made it clear there could be no easing off or dropping of standards. If that is the case Fulham could be on the end of a performance which may be too much for them tomorrow
He said: ““If you’ve been to Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Leicester away from home in the first seven you’d say that’s tough for any club. “So I”m pleased with the way we’ve started. I still wanted more points, but the level of performance has been good.”

“We try to be the same all the time. We’re trying to get consistency, whether that’s against teams at the top or those who you’d consider to be nearer the bottom. The motivation is the same every week.”
