West Ham manager refused to expand on the situation about three players who will be out of contract in two weeks times
Asked by reporters about Jeremy Ngakia, Pablo Zabaleta and Carlos Sanchez all of which contract ends on 30th June the gaffer said
“We’ve got a few weeks to go before we need to worry about that and we will deal with it. We have players out of contract and so do other clubs.
It’s not an ideal scenario for anyone but they are legally binding so the players have a decision whether to stay beyond June 30 or not.”
The West Ham manager was talking via Zoom video conferencing from Rush Green in a virtual press conference this afternoon.
Carlos Sanchez who was included in the squad that played Crystal Palace last week is not thought to have been offered a contract extension, while a £280,000 decision is yet to be made about Pablo Zabaleta with Jeremy Ngkaia rejecting a short term extension until 26th July.
Ngakia has a good chance in starting tomorrow or being named on the bench over doubts over Ryan Fredericks and Ben Johnson who have only recently recovered from long term injuries
