Newcastle v West Ham line-up: Moyes makes one change

|

West Ham manager David Moyes has revealed his starting eleven and substitutes for today’s Premier League clash against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. Personally, I’m delighted to see Moyes retaining a front four and hopefully deploying Lucas Paqueta from a central position.

Moyes has opted for the centre-back pairing of Kurt Zouma and Konstantinos Mavropanos at St. James’ Park to handle the threat posed by the Newcastle attackers.

Vladimir Coufal and Emerson Palmieri will operate as the full-backs, expected to contribute to the team’s attacks with their runs down the flanks.

James Ward-Prowse and Tomas Soucek will feature in the midfield, with Lucas Paqueta tasked with providing attacking impetus from the centre.

Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus will be responsible for providing width and attacking drive, while Michail Antonio leads the line for the Hammers today.

On the bench, Moyes has options like Danny Ings, Kalvin Phillips, and Angelo Ogbonna for the match in the northeast of England.

Starting lineup: Areola; Coufal, Mavrapanos, Zouma, Emerson; Ward-Prowse, Soucek; Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus; Antonio.
