Ahead of West Ham’s reorganisation during the summer transfer window, it seems Manager Nuno Espirito Santo has already made decisions on key members of the squad whom he wishes to keep and some who he’s already decided to offload.

Cutting player wages to comply with new Squad Cost Ratio rules and refashioning the side to make it fit for purpose in a tough Championship promotion push means there will inevitably be departures.

Footballinsider247.com make the claim that West Ham’s manager has already decided where the axe will first be wielded:

“Nuno Espirito Santo has already binned Pablo:

Former Hammers scout Mick Brown told Football Insider earlier this week that Nuno Espirito Santo has already told Pablo that he is not part of his plans for next season.

Surplus to requirements: West Ham’s new head of recruitment will have a tough job on his hands finding a club willing to pay for Pablo’s services next season

The club are now preparing to offload the struggling striker as quickly as possible this summer, and have accepted that they will have to take a loss to get him out the door.”

Bournemouth and Brentford were, at one stage reported to be interested in the Brazilian striker’s signature before West ham landed Pablo in January.

It has to be hoped that a new suitor emerges to at least allow the Irons to recoup part of the absurd -looking £20 million they paid for the striker with the leaden touch who has just one solitary assist to his name in 17 total league and cup appearances as a Hammer.

Whoever takes the reigns as a head of recruitment – finding a willing buyer for Pablo will prove a tough ask as the youngster hasn’t pulled up any trees in his time at London Stadium and the ‘loss’ looks likely to be huge.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.
