Earlier this week West Ham started inviting Band 2 Season Ticket Holders to the Club Reservation Centre in Westfield Stratford City to select their seats at the Olympic Stadium. Appointments for Band 1 season ticket holders came to a close last week.

Each Band 2 Season Ticket Holders who will pay £799 for their season ticket and should already have received a separate email from the New Stadium Reservation Centre, explaining the process for 2016/17 renewals, and giving each supporter personal login details to manage their appointment online.

The Band 2 appointments are scheduled to take place until October, after which the Band 3 appointments will run until December, with Band 4 appointments set to follow for the first few months of 2016. Here is an early virtual view of what one band 2 season ticket holder was given this week of what their view would be like.

Hmmmm. I’m watching the athletics at the OS on tv right now. Looks like the fans in the lower tier seats might get a good soaking on a wet matchday when the stadium is in football/rugby mode……and those in the upper tier might need binoculars to locate Lanzini on the pitch (if he’s still playing for us by then!).

  • No they won’t get wet as the retractable only covers the tracks at each end of the running track where it was dry. At the sides the running track will still be between the seats and the pitch but hidden by artificial turf. The dug outs sit on top of the track so they might get wet but they have their own roof also
