Payet’s ambition to do a Leicester

|

Payet4Dimi Payet has confirmed that Slaven Bilic and the prospect of playing at the Olympic Stadium were the motivating reasons for him joining the Irons and  agreeing a new deal at the club.

As he prepared to take on Spurs at the Bolyen tonight, Dimi has been discussing all things West Ham.

Speaking to the official site he declared when asked his reasons for arriving in the east end: Slaven was a big factor in me signing for the club last season and signing my new contract recently. I thank him for that.”

The new stadium was also a big factor in me choosing to sign for West Ham last summer.

“It shows that the club wants to take big steps forward and continue to grow. It is our ambition to do what Leicester have done and push for a genuine title challenge.”
