Pelle gets his priorities in order

|

Manuel Pellegrini has turned the focus back onto the League programme after the disappointment of last night’s Cup match.

The manager – despite declaring he seriously wanted to win the game  – showed his priorities soon after commenting on the match.

Pelle was quick to look ahead after the Carabao Cup post mortem saying: “It was important to continue in this cup, but we couldn’t. But we must always think that the Premier League is more important on Saturday.”
