Pellegrini not helping his cause

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini refused to discuss his future to TV cameras last night repeating it ‘Does not depend on me’

Asked Whether he would be given time to fix West Ham results an unemotional 67-year-old replied “does not depend on me’ pressed by the Sky sports interviewer on what he thought personally he snapped back “I don’t know! Nothing! Because it does not depend on me”

While everyone understands it will be a West Ham board decision whether to sack him or not, he is certainly not helping his cause with car crash interviews like this where he shrugs his shoulders and saying ‘does not depend on me’.

The Chilean looks like a man waiting to be put out of misery and his interview showed a lack of passion or desire to turn things around.

  1. Get him out of our club.

5 of us not attending again until he’s gone.

  2. How is he still at the club ??
Most clueless manager I’ve ever seen.
Now I’m reading if we lose at Southampton they’ll probably sack him !!
So, if we win or draw that makes him a better manager does it ? Of course not, the man is a total clown and should have been gone weeks ago.
How many more points will be conceded before we pull the plug ?

  3. He is not earning his wage. If he was any kind of man with an ounce of honour or pride he’d forego his salary until such time as they win and rise up the table. Until that time he should donate his wages to a local charity. If he doesn’t feel he can turn things round he should do the honourable thing and walk. Clearly all he is doing now is waiting for his pay off.

  4. When a team with an ex player, coaches a team to beat an experienced expensive (proper) coach, I use the word ‘proper’ loosely? Makes the situation at West Ham laughable, and unreal, and last night WAS very hard to take?? We are skating on thin ice wih a possible
relegation looming? Where in the world would you have ever seen a Brazilian player not wanting to shoot when a goal is near? Answer at West Ham with Anderson!! When Cresswell went off and Masuaku came on , the ice, in West Hams case collapsed? Masuaku is not a left back!!! but is he all we’ve got to replace Cresswell?? what about our under 23″s left back taking over or being given a chance? Or better still buy a decent one in the next window? And while we’re ‘at it’ get a better right back and a holding midfielder? The list could go on?.But the truth is a new coach or manager is needed to sort the mess we’ve become very fast! because to us the supporter’s, the truth last night was plain to see, Pellegrini is never gonna change and it’s all going to end in tears with the board, one way or the other ? Relegation ? Or put your hands in your pockets? The decision to change things now, or stick with the dross we are putting up with is down to the owners. The buck stops at the top .

  5. MarkeeMark, l couldn’t have put it better myself, he was only ever here for the money, the trouble is it’s the only way any half decent manager will come here working under the clowns Inthe boardroom
