Manuel Pellegrini has told the official website that Fabianski injury is better than expected after an MRI scan and that Mark Noble will begin running again this week in training.
Pellegrini told West Ham TV in a video interview for WHUFC.com “Łukasz (Fabiański) is better than we expected, he has a small injury but not too big. Mark (Noble) will start running this week, I think it will be difficult for him to start the first game.”
Asked whether he had a message for supporters in advance of the start of the Premier League season the boss replied:
“Of course, this is my second season and I hope we are going to improve what we did last year, I think that last season we grew a very big step, especially the relationship between the fans, the stadium and the team, and I think that is absolutely linked with the way we play.
“I hope we will have the same support from the fans. We always have 60,000 people behind our team every time we play here at London Stadium. I hope that we can have a brilliant season and they can enjoy it.”
