The Met Police have confirmed that one of three pitch invaders has been fined by a court and given a three-year court banning order meaning it is not allowed to attend any football matches in the England and Wales for three years. He will also receive a life ban from the West Ham United at the London Stadium.
“Encroaching the pitch is a criminal offence that will not be tolerated by the club,” West Ham said in a statement on WHUFC.com.
Confirming the court appearance on Twitter dedicated West Ham Police Officer Andy Sheldon said: “The first arrest for pitch running on Wednesday appeared at court today, he pleaded guilty was given a fine and a 3-year football banning order.”
