A report on Calciomercato.com suggests that West Ham are seriously scouting AC Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu with a view for a possible bid.
The report suggests both West Ham and Leicester City are showing interest with the Hammers sounding out the player entourage.
According to rumours coming from Turkey, Milan have put a valuation of Calhanoglu at 30 million euros (£25.8m). He joined the Italian side in the summer of 2017 from Bayer Leverkusen for 22 million euros. Calhanoglu’s contract expires in 2021.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man has scored just once in the League for Milan this season and another in the Europa League, with Calcimercato adding that sporting director Leonardo wants to ‘revolutionise the offensive department’.
The 25-year-old player has 50 domestic and international appearances this season scoring two goals for Turkey while on International duty. Last season he made 46 appearances domestically and internationally scoring eight goals for AC Milan in the process.
