Report: Hammers scout Adrian replacement

|

West Ham has scouted Empoli goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski as a replacement for Adrian whose contract expires in June.

The goalkeeper set a Serie A record for most saves in a clean sheet with 17 during their 0-0 draw against Atalanta and enjoyed 11 clean sheets this season.  Dragowski has bee on loan from Fiorentina and has helped Empoli stay in a tight battle in their fight against relegation.

The Poland U-21 international faced his parent club over the weekend and secured a potentially famous 1-0 win with an astounding 11-save performance and, according to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham scouts were there to watch his confident display.

Dragowski is believed to be surplus to requirements at Fiorentina and, despite being under contract until 2021, could be available for a cut-rate price to West Ham.

Young Hammer Nathan Trott is thought to be primed to go out on loan to a Championship club to make a step up in his development.
