Sky pundit predicts Leicester stalemate

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has predicted a stalemate this Saturday evening when Leicester take on West Ham at the King Power Stadium.

Merson writes on the Sky Sports website “Two evenly matched teams here. West Ham will miss Andriy Yarmolenko – which means the focus will be on Marko Arnautovic to deliver – he’s more than capable though. He’s ‘top-six’ quality.

I think he will score here but Leicester will too. Score draw. PAUL PREDICTS: 1-1″

Bookies Betvictor are offering odds of 6/1 for that scoreline while a West Ham 2-1 win can be had at 12/1

Bet365 are offering 10/1 for a West Ham 1-0 win while Labdbrokes will give 12/1 for a Hammers 2-0 win.

The Hammers have the slight edge over Leicester winning 52 games, drawing 31 and losing 47 games since they first played in November 1919.

Their last game came in May this year when West Ham came out the two nil winners at the King Power Stadium with Joao Mario and Mark Noble the two Hammers to find the back of the net.

  • Hammers in the blood 1 says:

I can see why Mersin thinks a draw but the lads know they will have to give everything on the pitch to win this. This is no easy game I expect the lads to give their all and win , we can do it show them what it means to be West Ham . COYI ⚒
