|

Spurs appear to be involved in a mounting injury crisis ahead of their clash against the Irons with Christian Eriksen the latest player to pick up an injury.

He suffered what is being described as a minor knock during a Denmark international and joins several others fighting to make it into the weekend game.

Mousa Dembele and Vincent Janssen have also picked up problems whilst away with Belgium and the Netherlands, but both men – plus Eriksen – may yet feature depending on their progress this week.

Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld are bidding to recover from hip and knee problems.

Dele Alli is out for a few weeks with a knee problem and Ben Davies is out for an extended period with an ankle problem.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane has been released form England duty and will return to Spurs in order to continue an individual fitness programme.
