Steidten looks to make another big impression

Tim Steidten will be looking to make another big impression at West Ham with the likely arrival of Ibrahim Osman.

Steidten looks to make another big impression

The club’s  new recruitment team appear to be getting it very much together in what is clearly a very difficult window,

Those hoping for an encore of technical director  Steidten’s heroics on his arrival will of course be delighted with any part he played in the Kalvin Phillips scenario.

However, we await the seemingly likely arrival of Ibrahim Osman to see whether he will continue to impress with top arrivals after persuading Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez into the club.

Osman, 19, only left the Right to Dream academy in Ghana for FC Nordsjlland in January 2023 and it really is fingers crossed that he is potentially of the same quality.

On the face of it he has some proving to do given stats which don’t shout too loudly but the “Trust Tim” is being mantra is currently being chanted  around the club and among the fans.

The attacking winger has managed just  score four goals and five assists in 39 competitive matches for the Danes.

FC Nordsjlland sit nine points behind leaders FC Midtjylland and just one in front of our Euro Conference League opponents from last season, Silkeborg, whom we beat both both at home and away.

Osman, meanwhile has managed  three goals in the Conference this season where he has played 10 of is 23 games this term.

Steidten appears to be a top operator on the basis of those first two arrivals so we await the likely arrival of Osman with great anticipation.
