It is fair to say that the West Ham fan jury is most definitely still out on one of Nuno’s most-selected, almost talismanic players for whom a first team appearance significantly improves the chances of  a West Ham win.

Pablo Felipe’s presence virtually ensured double the points tally for Nuno’s side according to articles produced last month. Nuno has been one of his biggest advocates, keeping him in the team and often commenting on his excellent work in training, despite match day results being limited to just one championship goal in a Hammers shirt.

Despite being the ‘striker who cannot score’, Pablo Felipe’s ‘defending from the front‘ energy has been praised universally whilst his touch and his finishing – well – hasn’t.

Until today’s West Ham video release has had Hammers fans suggesting they’re watching Carlos Tevez in disguise.

Judge for yourself: Here’s the twitter / x clip that has gone viral, showing Pablo flicking the ball over defender Morato and then calmly slotting home – thanks to twitter account HenryT for the post, which has already racked up over 46,000 views!

Several of the fan comments are humorous but unprintable here – but at least supporters can now, perhaps, get a glimpse of what Nuno has been promising that his young striker has in his locker. A repeat performance in front of 60,000 tomorrow would not go amiss.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Curse you Shaun Wright-Phillips.
I still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows another six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser.
Can tell I'm getting old knowing I watched both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old.
Magic.
