West Ham supporters think that Fabian Balbuena should replace Angelo Ogbonna after the international break.
Despite being in excellent form recently and scoring an important goal on Saturday, Claret and Hugh readers still say they would prefer Fabian Balbuena to start over Ogbonna.
With 1,000 supporters voting 749 (74.9%) said Ogbonna should be the one to make way while 145 (14.5%) said it should be Issa Diop. The remaining 106 (10.65) said that Manuel Pellegrini should leave Ogbonna and Diop pairing intact.
Balbuena has made 18 appearances for West Ham until getting injured late last year, Ogbonna has 24 appearances in all competitions this season whole Diop has made 34 appearances for the Hammers.
Ogbonna joined West Ham on a four-year contract for €11 million to be spread over the next three financial years in July 2014. In June 2017, Ogbonna signed a new contract with West Ham committing him to the club until 2022. Ogbonna will turn 31 in May. He has made 118 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions.
