Top agent joins C and H and talks all things Hammers

|

It’s a great pleasure to  welcome top agent Silky to talk on all things Hammers and he says: “It’s brilliant to join the Claret and Hugh team and believe it to be the best West Ham fan site out there. I will talk all things Hammers and a variety of subjects in general starting today. Thanks Hughie for the opportunity of joining the C and H family.

Earlier in the week  I mentioned on Facebook that I had hoped for a thank you for bringing Lucas Paqueta into the club when I received a call asking me to help. That was basically because when Slaven was in charge he had wanted Angelo Ogbonna and when I made it happen he made a pointy of simply saying: “Silky, thanks so much for bringing Oggy to the club, he was always the player I wanted. I’m grateful,” That stuff means a lot to all of us when we do a job.

What I expect for the Hammers this year

There are many improving clubs in the Premier League this season and were the Hammers to finish no lower than 12th I would say they have had a good season. In my view they have a problem at the back where the defence simply isn’t working together with the  full backs getting themselves out of position too easily and the central defenders having to cover the gaps. The goalkeeper is excellent but they need a couple of full backs who can defend and attack at the right times before getting back into position. The midfield is very good with Lucas the best of them. Everything goes through him that is worthwhile for goal creation other than JWP’s set pieces which are sensational. Drop him for six games and I think you may only see the team get three or four points. They desperately need a striker but trust me no really good ones will move in January. The winter window to be honest is pretty hopeless.

Once again…it’s great to be on board the best Hammers site and I’ll see you again very soon.
