|

One time Hammers target central defender Alfie Mawson looks set for a return to the Premier League with a couple of clubs Premier League clubs interested.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini pulled the plug on plans to bring the player to the London Stadium preferring instead Fabian Balbuena.
He made it clear that he wasn’t keen on bringing relegated players to the club and according to the latest reports that appears to have left the way open for Fulham and Burnley.
Sky Sports claim that the Hammers are keeping tabs on the 24-year-old but that looks very much like a back covering ‘just in case’ suggestion.
The Cottagers want another defender despite having snared Maxime Le Marchand in the last few hours whilst Burnley are being linked as they prepare for life in the Europa League.
