Vast majority behind London Stadium seating transformation

Nearly 89% of Claret and Hugh readers are behind the proposed new seating configuration at the London Stadium results of a poll have revealed today. Over 7% say the news and visual images are an amazing transformation while nearly 80% say it is a Good step in the right direction.

8% of over 1,500 supporters who voted say they are not bothered either way while the remaining 5% say the idea is a complete waste of time and money.

News of the proposal was released in a joint statement by West Ham and stadium owners LLDC yesterday along with a visual of how the finished stands behind the goals may look.

On news of the result of the poll a senior club insider speaking to Claret and Hugh via email said: “It is positive in so far as the supporters know we are listening, and acting.  We are still a long way from implementation, as it needs to go to planning, licensing, tender and most importantly build schedule as if it is going to be installed it has to be done in the close season.”
