There was finally plenty to smile about at the London Stadium as West Ham comfortably beat Derby County 3-0 to make it back-to-back Championship victories.

Goals from Joël Piroe, Edvin Austbø and Mohamadou Kanté secured another three points, meaning the Hammers have now scored seven goals across their last two games while also recording their first clean sheet of the season.

Are West Ham Finally Finding Their Rhythm?

In his latest fan cam, Mike gives his reaction to an excellent afternoon and picks out some of the individual performances which particularly impressed him.

Divine Mukasa caught the eye again, while the centre-back partnership of Max Kilman and Konstantinos Mavropanos produced a dominant display at the heart of the West Ham defence.

There was also another promising contribution from Austbø, who added a goal to the growing excitement surrounding the young Norwegian. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo seemed to agree things were gelling when he said: “It will take time, but we are positive that it will come, but we’re really happy the way we combined, the way we look for the better pass, something that was missing, but still improvement is needed.”

Two wins don’t make a season, but after a difficult start, Mike believes there are finally signs that West Ham are beginning to find their rhythm and build some genuine momentum.

Best of all these sudden changes mean no more excuses from Nuno, just the enjoyment of steady progress and positive results. We definitely deserve that.

Is that the first time we have scored three goals in a game, where all the scorers have either an acute accent, umlaut or whatever the Norwegian “o” with a line through it is ? Asking for a language expert 😊⚒️⚒️

    League table shows 11.
More importantly they were scored by nine different players.
    Bowen/Taty/Kante/Austbo/Mavro/Mukasa (X2)/Solomon/Piroe (X2)/Kilman.
    That what you call sharing.
