West Ham have turned their backs on striker Timo Werner despite being linked with the player for several weeks. TEAMtalk are the latest media outlet to claim the Hammers seem favourites to sign the player whilst adding that he is not unduly keen on a return to the Premier League but we were told this afternoon the Irons have no interest whatsoever in him. We were told by our top source at the club: “It’s simply not true. We are definitely keen to bring a striker in perhaps on loan but there is no interest in Werner.
