West Ham have turned their backs on striker: Timo Werner

TEAMtalk are the latest media outlet to claim the Hammers seem favourites to sign the player whilst adding that he is not unduly keen on a return to the Premier League but we were told this afternoon the Irons have no interest whatsoever in him. We were told by our top source at the club: “It’s simply not true. We are definitely keen to bring a striker in perhaps on loan but there is no interest in Werner.

The player was at Stamford Bridge for two seasons between 2022 and 2022 where after making a near £50 million move he made 89 appearances making  23 goals 21 assists. But he missed many more chances in front of goal and left having been seen as a failure.

Team Talk now claim the Hammers interest is thought to be serious but that is most certainly not the case according to our insider who added: “We are looking but he is not among the possible options.
