Germany news outlet Bild reported yesterday that Italian Serie A club Venezia have made a formal approach for our striker Niclas Füllkrug, pushing ahead with negotiations and even agreeing personal terms with the former German international.
Venezia Move Stalls Over Füllkrug Valuation
The newly promoted Italian team were prepared to make Füllkrug the focal point of their attack, offering a contract that the player was reportedly happy with. But the move has stalled, as according to Bild, Venezia simply couldn’t meet West Ham’s valuation, leaving the deal blocked despite the player’s willingness to make the switch.
Even though the former West Ham outcast hasn’t played a single minute of pre-season and hasn’t even been handed a squad number, West Ham remain adamant they won’t let him go for a knock-down fee.
More Transfer Twists To Come
There will be more twists and turns surrounding the German’s future before the transfer window slams shut. Venezia may return later in the window, but they would need a significant financial shift to reopen talks.
What is clear, however, is that the striker isn’t part of Nuno’s plans, and a move away from the club would be best for all parties.

Although I agree with the clubs stance regarding our out going players.
I think this particular one should be off loaded asap…Just let him go…He his past his sell by date… Slow…And can’t hit a barn door with a shovel..He can also be outspoken in the dressing room… With the new academy players coming in we don’t need anyone who could potentially rock the boat.

They’ve also signed Kosovan CF Albion Rrahmani from Sparta Prague for €7.5m plus €2m add ons
While they have lost both their first choice front two from last season they aren’t going to break the bank for Fullkrug. Our transfer team need a reality check
