West Ham’s latest signing, Kyle Walker-Peters, has completed his medical today.
That’s according to football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who released the update on his social media account within the last few minutes.
Walker-Peters will sign a three-year deal at the London Stadium after running down his contract at Southampton.
The versatile full-back was expected to sign for Turkish club Beşiktaş on Wednesday, but pulled out once it became clear that a move to West Ham was on the cards.
He will offer cover in a multitude of roles within Graham Potter’s squad, having played both left and right full-back and wing-back for the Saints last season.
It’s also been reported that KWP accepted a lower wage than what was offered in Turkey in order to secure a move to East London.
The 28-year-old is expected to join up with Potter and his new teammates at the start of next week, when they return from the pre-season tour in Germany.
