A couple of injury issues, high workload and rotation options present Nuno with something of a selection conundrum in his second game of the week and the third in eight days. However, just one more week before the international break means there’s respite ahead for nearly all of West Ham’s squad, especially the likes of Jarrod Bowen who has featured for almost every minute so far this season.
Whether Taty Castellanos is risked after a hamstring tweak is more of a head scratcher, since without him the tactic of starting Kanté further forward didn’t really work at Bolton – which is likely to earn Pablo more minutes despite his lack of success in front of goal. West Ham have just released Nuno’s line up to take on the challenge of Wrexham tonight and the starting eleven is as follows:
The team’s just been announced and Nuno has surprised everyone:Tay and Motto are ‘in’ for Pablo and Scarles: Arguably West Ham’s strongest possible line up.
West Ham United
Hermansen | Veltman, Mavropanos, Kilman, Morato | Engels, Mukasa | Bowen, Taty, Piroe, Solomon

The game is broadcast live on Sky with an 8pm kick off: Well be back straight after with Gozo’s player ratings and my ‘Final whistle, first impressions’ before 10pm so check back and compare your own thoughts with ours. Three points and were headed back to the top of the table until tomorrow’s games at least.
Come.On.You.Irons!!
Morato over Boiro seems a strange choice and Boiro hasn’t even made the bench this time. Nuno is very schizophrenic in his selections meaning he either doesn’t know his best team or lacks confidence in a lot of the squad. He is becoming tinkerman v2.0
What a bench!!
Looks a strong line up to me, I’ll run with a 2-0 win.
Looks like he’s going for a 7-6 win.
3-0 Solomon, Bowen, Taty in no particular order
