Zouma updated on Spurs/Fulham plan

Kurt Zouma will play in two successive Hammers games for the first time in many months! The captain and central defender and his family are still recovering from the burglary at their home on the eve of the Palace match which left him traumatised and unable to turn out for the Irons against Crystal Palace on Sunday. But Zouma has been updated on the Spurs/Fulham plan.

But Claret and Hugh was told exclusively this evening that he will bne expected to play in both London derbies at the Tottenham, Hotspur Stadium and Craven Cottage this week as the team looks to continue its unbeaten run against the old enemy who drew 3-3 with Man City on Sunday whilst Fulham lost a 4–3 thriller against Liverpool at Anfield.

The news that Zouma will be expected to play in the two games is something of a kick up Konstantinos Mavropanos’ rear after he gifted Palace their equaliser with a really poor ball supposedly out of defence. We were also told that Edson Alvarez got out of his sick bed for the Palace game having been been really poorly with a virus as was reported on Claret and Hugh.

Our source said: “Alvarez got of his sick bed yesterday to play, so he should improve and Zouma will have to play both games this week.”
