Joe Hart will be left out of West Ham’s team to face Chelsea tomorrow lunchtime, threatening his hopes of going to next summer’s World Cup as England’s first-choice goalkeeper claims the Times today.
The paper claims that David Moyes informed Hart yesterday that he intends to retain Adrián in goal. The Spaniard had an outstanding game pulling off several important saves in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat away to Manchester City because Hart was ineligible to face his parent club.
Hart joined West Ham on a season-long loan in the summer after Gareth Southgate said that he would only pick England players who are regulars on their club sides.
A Claret and Hugh poll earlier this week of 2,749 fans showed that over 94% back David Moyes decision to keep Adrian in goal for the London derby this weekend.
Hope so he def deserves to start.
But then Mlyes said in Press he hasn’t decided yet & Hart offers Experience & Communication & presence in dressing room.
Adrian has experience too & w West Ham were it counts the most right now. He communicated with defense best I’ve seen all season & Adrian can speaks great English & Spanish so think Obiang plays better w him.
Also Adrian huge presence in dressing room from what I’ve heard & players respond to him on pitch.
He is better shot stopper & deserves a start
