Jack Sullivan makes signings promise

|

jacksDavid Sullivan’s youngest son Jack has placed his finger on the ‘expectation button’ by forecasting that more signings are on the way into the club.

The Hammers may have turned in one of their great performances today but it seems that reinforcements are on the way assuming the teenager has it spot on.

He has tweeted within the last hour following the 3-0 defeat of Liverpool that it was going to be a very busy few days as Deadline Day approaches.

He tweeted: “Still need to sign a few players. I promise it will be a busy next few days.”

I won’t hold my breathe Junior. The next few days will be busy but will we be involved?? Will EXPECTATIONS= OUTCOMES.

  • TRB says:

…..and Jarvis, Amalfitano, O’Brien and possibly Collins leaving? I don’t particularly want Ginge to go, but it’s just a feeling he might.

Hammers win at the arse, I go on holiday, all hell breaks loose for 10 days, I return, and we win 0-3 at Anfield. Glad I made it back. !
Who’s gonna pay me to stay in the UK ?

They would do better to just keep quiet rather than keep making promises they might not be able to keep. We just end up feeling dissapointed. It’s like being promised a Raleigh chopper at Christmas and waking up to a penny farthing.

I like the way Slav was keen to point out that we still need players in his post match interview. It was like he suddenly realised the owners might think since we beat Liverpool at anfield we won’t need new players anymore. He even stressed that we need a different type of striker for home games than away games just to make his point. Ha ha

  • Roman says:

Good points Slaven. The win might put the transfers on the back burner for the owners if they aren’t already./

  • IronsEssex says:

I think we should look at signing Joel Campbell or Dwight Gayle, both bot needed at their clubs anymore and both are young and hungry

  • bubs says:

Hernandez will be a dead end and we don’t have time,
Moses needs sorting quick but keep Jarvis and either Song or another,
Back up forward but please no loan
But again not holding my breath,

Considering our bench v Liverpool it makes the win even more satisfying but hope no one else is sold as may struggle to field a side lol

  • Hammer64 says:

Does anybody actually know what Amalfitano did wrong. Not a bad player but he is obviously really ib Bilic’s bad books….

    • Hammerman6 says:

I think it was a breach of rules…arriving late for a meeting / training. However, I also think perhaps Amalfitano may have argued back or showed some kind of descent, So the Boss put him in his place. I thought at the time he was just being made an example of, and all would be well in a week or two. Not the case though looking at our bench yesterday. I expect him to be gone on Tuesday, along with one or two others.
I do hope we keep Ginge, and I have to say although not a fan of Jarvis, I think his attitude is exemplary.

  • Michael Miller says:

I find it ridiculous that the Owners use a 14 year old to get the message out to the fans – something deeply worrying here!

    • Hammerman6 says:

      Not disagreeing,
but, the Lad is the owners son, and not just any 14 year old. I really don’t think its too terrible, but sadly most of the information falls on stoney ground, or is wide of the mark, which excites and then deflates the fans.
However lets hope He is right this time, and DS pulls a rabbit out of the hat and finds us a new striker who will score 15 goals this season !!!! no me neither.

  • GW says:

The squad needs adding to but with the right players not the wrong. Yesterday at Anfield was a great day with great fans with a team built on a great work ethic. Any player brought in needs to show the same we’ve carried to many passengers for to many years, young and hungry is more appealing than a mercenary, someone mentioned Gayle and I totally agree throw in Demari Gray and Antonio and I’d be happy.. We’ve got the manager with a strong work ethic at last lets have the same kind of players… Liverpool 0 Irons 3 need I say more lol

  • mark west ham fan says:

i just wish Junior would keep it zipped…i prefer to see it in the papers before he opens his pie hole….Just keep quiet Jack please
