Report: Hammers could reignite interest in Everton winger

New Everton boss Marco Silva is reportedly set to axe Yannick Bolasie and Morgan Schneiderlin and the Guardian reports that West Ham will reignite their interest in the former Crystal Palace player Bolasie and are among the winger’s suitors.

Bolasie joined the Toffees in a £29 million deal in the summer of 2016 with the Hammers heavily linked to him at the time before his move to Merseyside.

Bolasie has endured a fairly miserable time since moving to Everton. Injury has plagued much of his spell at the club after suffering from anterior cruciate ligament and he has not exactly hit the heights since his return.

Fenerbahce are also interested in taking Bolasie on loan for the season but the 29-year-old doesn’t appear keen on a move to Turkey.

Bolasie returned to action last December and featured 16 times under Sam Allardyce, scoring once in the defeat to Manchester City.

Bolasie, who has three years to run on his current contract at Everton, has scored twice in 32 appearances for the club in all competitions.

  1. Please God, noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  2. we seem to be after all & sundry at the mo it’s getting quite boring & tedious, West Ham linked to this player that player talk is cheap who dreams these transfers up or are they picked out of a hat until the ink is dry & player holding the shirt il believe it then I’ve lost count of how many players were intrested in either Sullivan’s pockets are so far from he’s arms il never believe this smug midget

  3. Please make this rumour go away. We need fit players, not bench warmers to keep Carroll and Byram company

  4. Speculation I guess ? that being said a fit Bolasie is a real handful for defenders.
