Seething Slav remains so proud of his Irons

|

HappybilicFurious Slaven Bilic raged at the decisions which cost the Hammers points at the London Stadium as referee Mike Dean ensured he became the only talking point following a disgusting performance with the whistle.

And the manager made it clear that if any player should have walked following the clash between Phil Jones and Sofiane Feghouli then it should have been the Manchester United defender.

Slav declared himself very proud and pleased with the team’s performance but then said: “It was far more of a foul by Jones. That decision changed the entire perspective of the game – it was a crucial decision and it was entirely the wrong one.”

And he was seething at the second goal saying: “It was a big offside and was a totally wrong and unfair decision to us.”

The manager added: “The lads gave it everything and with ten men. If we carry on like that we will soon be high in the league.

To play with 10 men against a top team for 75 minutes is very difficult and we needed to get a goal back to give us that lift but believe me I really am very proud of them all.”

We played well. We were cheated by yet another “Big team” shocker of a referee.

2017, never thought I would say this, but it is now time to start using modern technology.

PS. Fully agree with Hugh. I am actually very proud of the team today.

You must have watched a different interview to me.The one i saw on Sky he was obviously annoyed but still calm.

Can’t fault anyone today. Reality is two decent performances in a row have got us 0 points. Makes the wins over Burnley and Hull more crucial now even though we were rubbish.

I cant say what i really think of Dean at the moment without having to put a years salary into the C&H swear box. What a complete & utter……..

  • R44GET says:

Difficult to win against any team that have 13 players when you only have 10. The men in black should hold their heads in shame. Diabolical officiating

No one has said how good we were in midfield today . Pace and closing down . If this does not prove how bloody awful Noble is nothing will .We need a goal scorer desperately and some cover at the back but the answer to midfield is in Bilic’s own hands . GET RID OF NOBLE >

Agree bubbles. I think Noble may have a splintery ar5e over the coming months. Obiang was IMMENSE tonight, imo.

    • Stratford E20 says:

You are spot on but Noble will be back as a first team regular very soon.

Can’t believe that with all the controversy today that some so called fans can’t resist digging out someone who never even played, instead of discussing the talking points of the game. How about getting rid of W##k Dean.

  • mooro66uk says:

Or should that be Manc Dean?

  • CondorHammer says:

Funny that mooro, but I thought suggesting Noble be benched (as his form has been a bit iffy, imo) and replaced by Obiang (who I thought was excellent tonight) was fairly relevant. Oh well.
Oh, and agreed. Dean is an absolute Cnut!!!

Must say we played our best ever football at the LS today. lt was as if the players felt somehow liberated, like a stumbling block had finally been removed and they were now free to express themselves. lm proud to be a hammer today.

Real shame about crooked Dean. l think he is on the take but gets away with it because people are reluctant to believe epl refs are corrupt even when week in week out they influence match outcomes right under our noses.

ln the first half he let both Valencia and Lingard (the rebound) shoot from an offside position and only Randolph and the post saved us in quick succession. Then he ignored 3 offside Man U players for Zlatan’s goal, and that cant be mere coincidence. And all that after red-carding Feghouli for a foul another ref might have actually blown in our favour.

Dean clearly set out to assist Moan U in every way he could, and the FA should wake up and smell the coffee.
