Slav makes a brilliant point on home form

|

london-stadium-fansSlaven Bilic has sent Sunderland a reminder they should forget all ideas of the London Stadium creating pressure on West Ham’s players this weekend.

There have been hopeful sounds coming out of Mackems territory that our poor start at the new home should give them reason for encouragement.

But Slav was having none of that and quickly played down the comparison by giving everybody a reminder of last season’s start at Upton Park.

He said: ” We were beaten by Leicester and Bournemouth but we turned things around and made Upton Park a fortress over the rest of the season – we can do that again here.

“The win at Palace has done the confidence so much good. To be fair the spirit and mood was good over the two weeks before- we never stopped talking and working. We were fine.

“But of course there’s nothing like a win to help things and we go into the match looking for a good result.”

This was worse than last year in fairness but if the team play with the same intensity they played with against Palace then we should all be going home happy, let’s see a Zaza hatrick, a corker from Payet and another from Lanzini COYI !!!

The ground at Palace gave the players that old feeling of our old ground,
ThePlayers that play for us play in massive grounds all round the world,so this getting used to the ground is rubbish,
    The difference is attitudes,
Players went out and played their hearts out and if they don’t do that every week they will loose,
Slav should have learnt so much from this game,
Sunderland are the side that we should rip a new one in our new ground and with that make teams think before they come to our new ground,
Moyes is just keeping Hippo, seat warm for a couple of weeks
then he will be back in charge,( put your house on it )
