Transfer news: Adebayor rumours gather strength

|

adebayor-tottenham-west-ham_3259920According Claret and Hugh Columnist EXWHUEmployee, Emmanuel Adebayor should join us on a season loan with Spurs subsiding part of his wages.

Another West Ham ITK who calls himself ‘Jinxed’ from the KUMB.com forum says Adebayor will undergo a medical at Spire Roding Hospital this Friday morning ahead of a possible loan deal.

Both ITK’s were first to break the news yesterday evening that Kevin Nolan would leave the club  by mutual consent ahead of any official confirmed

The 31-year-old striker looked set to go on loan to Aston Villa in a move which would have seen him reunited with former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood. But the deal fell through after Adebayor had been given a tour of Villa’s Bodymoor Heath training ground, reportedly due to both parties being unable to agree terms.

Spurs are desperate to get rid of £100,000-a-week Emmanuel Adebayor before the transfer window closes on Tuesday 6pm.

Great,so now its a toss up between a mercenary 31yr old or an italian 31yr old who cant even get in his loan teams regularly.Perhaps we will get both. That will scare the rest of the prem teams,we will be a real force then. What a ****ing joke.

Apparently Juventus have had a change of heart on their Italian stallion. As for dealing with the spuds?Levy wouldn’t deal with us unless they had something big to gain.Another transfer window closing and the owners looking for cast offs and has beens.Pathetic.

  • Roman says:

Now it’s Matri from AC Milan at 31.Zaza not coming.Good gravy my heads in a spin.

  • slaven a laugh says:

I don’t trust Tottenham. Levy probably plans to string us along and then pull the plug at the last minute leaving us short. Just like he did in the January transfer window. I don’t know why we are even dealing with the totscum in the first place. This is the club that tried to stop us getting the Olympic stadium. I will accept adebayor on one condition. That he scores against Spurs and salutes Daniel levy in the stands. Matri was a top player about three years ago. I fear he is now in decline. His best days are probably behind him. He will be this years Boriello.

    On the money again Slaven.

  • canchaz says:

It is playing out exactly the way Slav said. Be surprised if they took both, although as they won’t cost us beyond wages, it might be considered.
All signs still point to the club are going to see how the Carroll situation plays out before looking at another big money striker

  • GW says:

35 years of supporting the club and I’ve heard the same old promises and bull**** from practically every owner and chairman we’ve ever had. We’re going to support our manager give him the funds, make the next step when all along spending minimal amounts on has beens and mercenaries. For DG and DS there not really any different to Cairns all about the powerful pound and full of **** excuses to why players ain’t been bought ,it’s seems obvious now there more interested in wrap around branding, colourful seats and video montages of the new stadium than supporting there manager with funds. TV revenue the highest it’s ever been, relaxation of FFP, more money for higher placed finishes but yet we still plead poverty when teams around us don’t have a problem. Fans shouldn’t be asking questions about Slav they should be asking why he ain’t being supported, 30 million quoted by DS for a forward and we could end up with these 2 what a ****ing joke

  • GW says:

And on another note crying out for a winger and Leicester have met Gray at Brum’s buyout clause, Norwich willing to pay 15 million for Afobe and we can’t get the money together for Yilmaz or Antonio but happy to pay stupid wages for middle aged has beens!! They might have saved the club but **** me there mugging it off now when we’re getting outspent by nigh on the whole premier league, I’m so glad I’m off to bin lid world tomorrow lol

Ffs,Canchaz is off & running about his exactly how Slaven said.Still listening to his imaginary voices & Slaven in his dreams.Canchaz the Mindbender!!

  • Michael Miller says:

    Umm – totally underwhelming!

I suppose the only good thing is that he’ll be on loan and Spurs will subsidise his wages – on his day he’s good, but his good days are few and far between – ask Arsenal or Tottenham fans what they think of him!
