What can I say? There is no way to spin a result like that so what starts as a very good day out amongst fellow hammers turns into a day to forget once the football starts.
Thanks to all involved and as always I was particularly impressed with the gallows humour on display from our long suffering fans. It doesn’t seem to matter how poorly we perform because I think the years of yo-yoing between the divisions has given a healthy dose of sarcasm . . . .. . . how else woud we manage following a 4-1 then a 5-1 defeat.
