£20m price tag slapped on Hammer

|

West Ham have received no inquiries for any of their players including Michail Antonio despite regular reports that the player is at the centre of interest from Crystal Palace.

Antonio has made it clear in a recent interview that has no idea either way on whether of not he will be Hammer after January – or  the summer.

It has become almost accepted in some areas that he is on his way but a senior source in a late night telephone call on Sunday was adamant that at this stage there has been no interest expressed for him or anywhere else “at this stage.”

He said: “We have all read the speculation but we have heard nothing from anywhere and Michail Antonio remains very much a Hammer. The same is true of the rest of the squad.”

Palace have been linked with the attacker on regular occasions this winter but should any bid come in the Hammers have a £20 million price on the player who cost them £7 million from Nottingham Forest.
