Lawrenson’s prediction

|

The man you love to hate – Mark Lawrenson – may well have put the kiss of death on the Hammers tomorrow by predicting a win for us.

Last week he reckoned that Watford would sneak a win , but we ended up of course getting our first win of the season over the Hornets with a famous 3-1 win.

And this week with guest Stephen Fry predicting a defeat for the Hammers, Lawrenson is  leaving us in serious limbo as to how its going to go.

But those of us who know that mans record a bit too well will be fearing the worst when Norwich City arrive at the London Stadium tomorrow for what could be a high scoring game.

With the Hammers having hit the net 4 times this season whilst conceding 7 and the Canaries – 4th off bottom but just a point behind us having scored 6 and conceding 8 – this could be a much higher scoring game than our two famous “experts” our predicting.

Just to join the guessing game we at ClaretandHugh our putting our heads right on the block by predicting a 4-1 win for the Irons.

Here’s what Lawro has to say whilst Fry goes for  2-1 Norwich win

I said at the start of the season Teemu Pukki would do well to get 10 goals but he is on five already!

My great worry about Norwich is defensively, they have conceded eight goals. You get so heavily punished in this league. They will rely on winning enough games and generally those wins come at home. They had chances at Anfield but you just worry about them away from home. If you are not right on it, you get punished.”

Lawro’s prediction: 2-0

To be fair, you should love Mark Lawrenson, he guarantees you one story a week 😛

If it weren’t for C&H, I’d have forgotten he exists.

This is the type of game we need to give it our all and not underestimate them . I would be really jacked off if we did not win because we have the ability and I trust the lads to get it done but just ensure we keep the intensity going . COYI ⚒

If we start with intensity and keep that up we should win, Norwich are a high scoring team and will probably score at least once so could be an exciting game COYI!!!

I hope it is a high scoring game… but only us scoring the goals! 🙂
