Hammers again linked to Liverpool man

|

A source at Anfield Central has claimed that Liverpool have been approached by West Ham, over midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

However, we have our doubts as the former Arsenal man only relatively recently returned from a knee injury last December after missingĀ  113 days,

Since then he has made only two starts and has come off the bench 10 times in all competitions.

This isn’t the first time this one has come up but with the priority signing being Jesse Lingard who in many respects is very similar to the Liverpool man it seems an unlikely connection to put it mildly.

The Hammers see him, a striker and possibly a new left back as the main positions although in a perfect world defensive midfielders as cover for Dec and Tomas look to be a requirement.

This one seems likely to become a regular repeatĀ  of a tale rather like the one involving Daniel Sturridge before it.
