Slade pleads with Rav to show his talent

|

ravel_2996341bCardiff City boss Russell Slade has told Ravel Morrison he has to start making his ability really count.

The 21-year-old midfielder has only made one start for the Championship club outfit after starting a three month trial period in September and appeared as a late sub at the weekend.

Now former Leyton Orient boss Slade has told the player to start showing his talent in the final third.

He said: “Ravel has the ability and everybody says that. Sometimes, though, he doesn’t use that ability in areas you want him to.

“We are willing him to show us that ability in the final third where you can hurt the opposition rather than picking it up off the back four.”

Morrison’s future is uncertain at West Ham with the club looking likely to loan him out again or entertain bids when he returns to the club. he is due to a Boxing Day return to Upton Park.
