Reported Irons target set for move

|

Arthur Cabral has long been linked with a potential move to West Ham but he is set to move to Fiorentina in this transfer window.

A new report from Fabrizio Romano claims that the Brazilian is closing in on a move away from Basel prior to the end of the window.

He has actually landed in Florence for a medical with Fiorentina and is poised to complete the final details of a transfer before signing on the dotted line.

Cabral is set to be the replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who is moving to Juventus.

It isn’t clear if West Ham ever actually made a bid for Cabral but he has been in fine form for the Swiss club since joining in 2020.

In total, he scored 65 goals in 106 games for the club, with 14 of those goals coming in 18 games in the league this term.

His move to Fiorentina will cost the Serie A club £12m.
