Hammers prepare to splash summer cash

West Ham  are ready to splash the cash this summer with the squad needing reinforcements in several areas.

The owners are very much aware that new arrivals will be needed at the back, in midfield and up front and that the summer of 2022 represents a major rebuilding project.

Fiorentoina central defender Nikola Milenkovic – wanted by avid Moyes last summer – is one name on the list and is being reported as ready to move despite signing a new deal last summer. He would cost around £18 million.

And as reported earlier the manager is desperately keen to land Benfica’s Darwin Nunez at around £50 £50 million along with a couple of midfielders and a left back.

The club will be finding new signing from the Sky money plus any extra they receive in positional bonus payments

New board member Daniel Krteinsky has remained very quiet since joining the board but we understand any cash above £100 million required for new players could be supplied via one of his companies at a more competitive interst rate than provided by the High Street banks.

Only worry about Nunez for me, will he do it in the prem? He looks pretty strong for his build and age. I just wonder if Broja would be a better option.
