Moyes reinforcements set for real testing

|

West Ham have entered are about to enter a series of games which will test the manager’s reinforced squad as the club it attempts to balance a rise up the table with  European Conference success.

Thursday night of course sees FCSB arrive at the London Stadium ahead of the game against Newcastle on Sunday followed by a trip to Silkeborg on the 15th and an away trip to Everton on the 18th.

The squeeze is made worse by attempting to schedule games around the break in November and December for the Qatar World Cup.

That’s four games in 10 days as we head towards a sustained period of wall to wall football one way or another and it is to be hoped the Conference games – certainly in the early stages – will prove ideal for improving Oggy’s fitness and giving a chance to the likes of Flynn Downes.

However, Daws is expected to be out for at least four more games which probably means we will see him back in action after the international break.
